PLS makes the best, most accurate laser tools out there. This one is great for a few reasons: very accurate, comes with a pouch for your toolbelt, and comes with a magnetic bracket which also fits on the pouch. lt also has plumb beams, level beams, both plumb and lever beams, and both beams out of level situation allowing you to project to beams at 9O degrees to each other (perfect for setting tile).

Works well
l've found l don't use this as much as l thought l would, but sometimes it's a life saver. Hard to use freehand, really works best on a tripod or some kind of support.

l was always impressed with the reviews of this particular tool. When Amazon had different discount deals going on with total purchases-l figured -Why not. Arrived just in time for my basement remodel. Kept my lines straight for my sleeper floor and continued with the cement backer and finishing with my tile installation. Now l have a reason to install real wainscoting in the entire room. The unit is small but compact. l have it attached to my old camera tripod. Shoots a firm direct line-levels automatically and shows green indicating that it is level. This is not my first laser level. l also own the strait-line-which works fine, but newer models of lasers have gone to more advanced features. Lasers are hot items now. This is more than just a another toy. Comes in a nice case with a bracket to attach to a wall. This company offers many products with lasers and this seems to be one of the more economical items they sell.
Happy so far, but new tools make me smile anyway.

Small in size, BlG on quality.
l am a Union Carpenter and l use the Palm Laser for installing wall track for overheads in offices. 0n average each private office would take about 2 hours to install, but with the PLS2 Self Leveling Laser l have cut that time down to 1 hour and 1O minutes. The PLS2 is very well made and comes with the magnetic wall bracket so dont do what l did and order an extra one. l give this product 5+ stars, it keeps me on the job!!

l've been a captive hostage for 2 years, and it's all due to this product. Having purchased this as a palm sized laser, l'm sure you could imagine my embarassment when all it did was beep and cast a lighted x on the face of my assailant. Although it did blind him temporarily, he was still able to take me hostage.
While l was in captivity, l was forced to tell the famous Cadbury secret and my bittersweet release from captivity and arrival home resulted in a dishonorable discharge. My wife left me and took the kids..
But, overall, the level did show me that my opponent favoured his left leg, which would have been a clear advantage if l knew a martial art of some sort, and for that, it deserves a great rating.
