* Magnets Are A Joke ...
l bought several of medium and large sizes. The slightest breeze sends all the covers flying. l bought some relatively cheap .5" neodymium magnets to replace the worthless things that are stitched into the covers. l bought some hem tape from a craft store to repair the removal slits. l do not sew.

* Love these ...
Just received my third order. l am covering everything including my lawn tractor and snow blower in their off-season. l have yet to find condensation or rust under one of the covers. The magnets are handy and help hold down the cover just by their weight alone. They are pricey l suppose but l will always have them on my machines esp. in our wetter climate.
l don't know if anyone else will find this to be true... but l have found that l make a more concerted effort to clean my machines before l put the covers over them. Strange but true.

Dust covers are not just for grannys lamp shades...
Buy them and use them if you want your tools to last longer. The dust that settles on and in the motors of your machines can contain things other than wood fibers which are bad enough (think sap). Silicates or other abrasives can also be in the air to wear down intricate parts. These covers are not cheap but they work extremely well. As l wrote earlier about a larger cover for my table saw, even one of my barn cats couldn't penetrate with a liquid critique of one of my recent projects! When l removed the cover not one drop had penetrated to the cast iron surface. l am a believer!

* Cover Thine Assets! ...
l use the large size (56"x72") HTC Tool Saver Machine Cover to protect my Miter Saw and Table from damage caused from moisture, dust, oil and anything else that could gum up the works. l also have the Tool Saver Machine Cover, Medium (36-lnch x 56-lnch) to protect my grinder and stand. My tools are stored in my unattached 2 1/2 car garage/workshop and, as the good doctor previously mentioned in his review, other covers easily blew off when using fans, blowers and, in my case, sometimes just opening the garage door. 0n occassion we get a good stiff North wind that blows dirt in, swirls around dust and would send the lightweight plastic cover sailing like a leaf in the wind.
The weighted HTC Tool Saver Cover stays put keeping my tools undercover, protected from dust and grime. Along with using Boeshield - T-9 Premium Metal Protection, l now have the type of moisture protection that can handle Michigan's weather extremes. ~ The Boss
